As it turned out I was completely ignored by the zombie minions, I mean employees, at the Apple store. All I wanted was to buy some Applecare Protection! Everyone was busy, so I went to London Drugs and spent $2700 instead of the initially intended $300. Yes, I bought a MacBook Pro (last years model, 15", very good price)!
It was almost a Pretty Woman moment, 'cept the whores were at the Apple store. Ka-zing!
This will probably be the last post from my antique G4 Tower (yes, an 8 year old tower is officially an antique by computer standards!). Good 'ole G4. We had some great times...3 am break downs, replacing the fan (that was not easy!!), adding RAM, removing RAM, scaring the cats with your start up chime, keeping them warm by overheating all the time...sigh.
