Wow. Thunder Bay is beautiful, when it is not raining like we are waiting for Noah's Ark to arrive. The people are friendly too. The cell phone doesn't work out here cause Rogers has muscled out Bell (Virgin). Oh well. Being incommunicado is not such a bad thing on vacation.
Had my first sauna today. Wow. Fantastic. I think I look better now but you be the judge:
My skin glows! My pores have gone! I am a diva! Well, I am anyway but still.
The private residence we are staying at has a doppelganger of Smokey called Woody. Really. And just as talkative and needy as old Smokes. Take a look at this photo if you don't believe me:
Woody is the one on the left.
Right now there are five deer outside in the garden. I've tried taking pictures but they run away when I open the door to the patio.
The wedding was lovely--short and sweet outdoors. The reception was at the local (Nipigon) Legion hall. I think Nipigon may be the size of Sangudo or possibly Barrhead but one cannot find tonic or soda water in town on a Saturday night. Most places closed at six and the Mac's had no idea what were talking about. I guess everyone here likes the booze straight, not mixed. This hypothesis was confirmed by observing the actions of the wedding guests of drinking age.
Not to be outdone, one young fella, about seven maybe, danced everything single dance. By himself. Very well. We are talking every single move from Saturday Night Fever, Micheal Jackson and Cabaret no matter what the song or beat. That kid is going to be a force to be reckoned with one day.
I don't know what tomorrow will bring but I hear it involves a fancy lunch and shopping.
