So I was walking towards the Safeway feeling all confident in my “new” red leather walking shoes (Nine West, $6.99 at Goodwill) when a man, standing by the door of the Dollar Store called out:
“Smell your hair for a buck?”
Did he want to give me a dollar so he could smell my hair or did he want me to give him the dollar for the same act? Considering the recent random murder in the parking lot a mere few feet away I decided not to ask for clarification.
Still, an easy buck is an easy buck....
