Lost no more...

I love TV. Movies are great but I have always enjoyed (perversely) waiting with anticipation for the next episode to see the character and plot development that movies can't seem to capture (this is probably why I also love comics). And now one of the most intelligent TV shows that I ever crushed on* is gone forever.

But what a way to go.

We were reacquainted with old friends and enemies and reliving some of the best (and worst) moments from six years (some 130 hours). Not all questions were answered in the finale (a lot were answered during the last season) but it hit all the emotional notes. I actually had a lump in my throat at the end, if not a few tears. That surprised me a little. I thought that is was the intellectual aspect of Lost that kept me watching. Yeah, right.

I spent 6 hours last night saying farewell to what has been one of the most intriguing, well written shows ever.

EVER.

All I can say is WOW.

Well, actually I have a lot more to say than that but WOW does sum it up nicely.

*My previous crushes have included Xena, Buffy, Angel, Firefly, and Arrested Development. My current crushes include True Blood, 30 Rock, Supernatural and Castle. These lists are by no means exhaustive.
