True Blood Season Three!!

Season Three started last night and it was worth the wait. Ok, I'm gonna elaborate so yes there will be spoilers ahead but since only one person reads this blog I am not too worried about ruining it for those who haven't seen it. And if you haven't seen it by now, well, I feel very sad for you (Andrew).

Ohmigod! Ohmigod! It was awesome! awesome! awesome! awesome! awesome! awesome! awesome! awesome! awesome! awesome! awesome! awesome! awesome! (see photo below).



Things to love: Mischievous and snarky Pam! Naked Eric! Dungeon sex! Stupid Sookie! Angry Tara! Fabulous Lafayette! Slightly ditzy Arlene! Real ditzy Terry giving out good advice to cousin Andy. Gay vampire/werewolf innuendo! Lettie Mae still being a bad mom. A minister trying to explain to Tara how the devil woman fits into God's plan for her to return to God.

The return of the creepy Magistrate. The return of the Queen who is no longer "cute and amusing" but terrifyingly insane. Eric getting his ass handed to him by a women half his size! Confused but cute teen vamp Jessica doing bad things but feeling good things for Hoyt!

Fashionable Pam. Sookie and Jessica working together as gal pals. Menacing Pam. Terrified but still classy Lafayette. Jason being a dumbass but for once not overly sexual. Hoyt being cute.

Bill getting kidnapped and tortured. Bill turning the tables and viciously destroying his attackers. Bill menacing an old woman on a respirator (and still made it look sexy).

Werewolves. Not the gentleman beast of Wolfman or the cuddly Twilight teens but nasty, smelly, crazy, blood sucking sadistic motorcycle gang style of werewolf.

The bad stuff? Very minimal. Mostly that HBO Canada did some minor censoring and that the episode was only 53 minutes long. But all in all 2 thumbs up!
