The media have announced that the family of the man beheaded on the Greyhound bus last month will be suing the government, thr RCMP and Greyhound "for they clearly failed in their duty to provide a safe environment for passengers on board the ill-fated bus."
I can't speak to the charges against the government or RCs, but as for Greyhound, I am sure that I have seen signs posted around the station and on the bus that state they are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
I am pretty sure a case could be made that this could apply to someone who lost his head.
