I am very happy that our cousins below the 49th came to their senses and voted in someone who can speak in complete sentences. And how embarrassing is it for us Canucks when we compare the voter turnout: ours was a dismal 59% compared to the US at 64%. In some areas it was close to 90%.
Let's hope that the promised change is for the good of all...
On another note: my dad tells me that Abraham Lincoln was Lebanese. It's not something that the Americans want the general public to know, he said yesterday as we were watching InDecision08, but it is true none the less.
Sigh.
The bathroom is still in disarray. If you know of any good cheap electricians, please let me know.
