Meet the Kidz!

I thought I would introduce the kidz, especially since we recently got an addition.

The first is Jewel (now 15 years), a crusty old kitty who is a diva.



Then came Data (now 11 years), the black lab who can sing. As a puppy he looked liked a bear cub and now he looks like like a big black bear.


Smokey (around 6 years) showed up one day and never left. He is as mischievous as he looks.



And finally, Dare Bear (about 7 months), a rescue from a farm. He is always hungry and looking for something to chew.

We are so lucky to have such lovable companions.

Boating at Wabamun

I guess my brother Ned has too much money cause he bought a boat. Just a cute recreation boat, nothing ostentatious. Of course, this is Alberta where we are lucky to get 2 months of nice boating or camping weather but this does not deter him.

As you can see by the smiles on my nieces and nephews you can't put a price on the joy of being outdoors and with family. It even got a smile out of me!
